This is a very memorable but one of the last photos of our university student life. Here we are at the Zero point in Islamabad - the show piece capital of Pakistan. It was in December-January 1986 and we, as part of our study tour, were exploring the geology of Nammal and Khewra gorges as well as the cultural richnes and historical heritage of the NWFP and that of part of the Punjab province.
Though the memories are fading away now but we really had a wonderful time out there with our class mates and with our Prof. (late) Dr Abdul Haq, who, unfortunately passed away at a very young age in 1996 (he is not in the picture). Picture description: from left to right:
Gul Jaan, Akbar Jaan, Din Mohammed Jaan, Khadim Jaan, Saeed Jaan and our Mohammed Jaan!
