My Sketches - Khadimsquetta
According to a research, conducted in 2001 by Richard Garstang, if the current water consumption rate continues, Quetta will run out of water within 15 years. That was said in 2001 while now we are in 2009, that means another 7 years to go before the real effects of water shortage will start affecting every aspect of our life - if the present attitude towards consumption and wastage of water dosen't change. Rising population, over-use of groundwater and long spells of drought are only making the situation worse.
